What an AWE-FULL time we had rocking out 500 lunches.  A full of AWE time instead of just a some of awe time!!! Loving gratitude for all who donated and participated in creating this wonderful experience! Pictures to follow!

Penny and her crew (Rainbow Friends) rocked out 500 breakfast burritos this evening. We are going to have a great Rainbow Day Of Love on Sunday Feb 23rd! We will be delivering 500 lunches complete with hot cocoa to the homeless in Down Town Denver.  Everything has been donated through Pay It Forward Donations! We will be having another Rainbow Day Of Love in April, to be announced. Loving Gratitude and a BIG THANK YOU to all who have donated monies, food, time and loving energies! I love you all so very much!

Rainbow Day of Love is an official Colorado Public Charity!!! Also I just received a voice mail from the Denver Post, they want to do a story on us!!! So I think we can count on the Denver Post being at lunch set up on Saturday at Penny's home, and Also sunday while we are delivering! Everyone is welcome that wants to come and help in whatever capacity to help! THank you and Loving Gratitude again to all the Rainbow Friends who have helped in any way either with money donations, food donations, and sending loving light! I love you all so much!! Namaste'

                RAINBOW DAY OF LOVE                                              

WOW! Just finished revising the Articles of Incorporation for A Non-Profit, The Bylaws, Filling out the 1023 form for application for 501 c. Now just have to review everything and hold our first board meeting. Asking for loving light to be to Rainbow Day of Love public charity process! I love you all so much Namaste' Just finished the registration of a public charity in the state of Colorado! They stated it will take up to 10 days for approval, but at least it's done!! I will be finishing up the application for 501 c status federally and my goal is to have paperwork submitted on February 17th!

Today I'll be working on getting some of the paperwork filed so Rainbow Day of Love will become a recognized 501 c recognized public charity. It's quite a process without having an attorney and accountant, but we are working from our hearts so I know and trust that everything will work out. I ask that you send loving light. The filing fee for state and federal totals to about $950. Also we still could use more monies, food, and always loving light energy donations. If you would like to help. This is a great Pay It Forward opportunity to help someone in need. $1 buys a loaded breakfast burrito, $2 buys an entire lunch. That's pretty cheap to feed someone. I ask that you open your heart. Buying someone who is hungry a lunch will not only raise that person's vibration out of despair, but will also raise your vibration, and those around you that witness that random act of kindness. Wouldn't you want someone to buy you a lunch if you were hungry and homeless? Also after we get our paperwork filed donations will than become tax deductable.

Rainbow Day Of Love  just received its EIN and is on it's way to becoming a 501c recognized public charity! With this status we will be able to feed and help so many more homeless people!  I am asking again for loving light to be sent to Rainbow Day Of Love! Just close your eyes and think happy happy thoughts and than direct them right into Rainbow Day Of Love's energy field.   Such a happy time to celebrate!

On February 23, 2014 on Sunday we will meet downtown at 1301 E Colfax it is the GLBT Denver Parking Lot to organize areas to deliver, and pass out lunches to all of the volunteers who would like to be a part of Rainbow Day Of Love. Handing a nice lunch to someone in need can really open your heart and raise your vibration up into love.   We will be having professional photographers take pictures through out the day. This my friends is going to be big and I encourage those who can participate to come on down.

We are going to set a tentative date of Saturday February 22 to put together the lunch bags.  I will post the time and place soon. We are trusting  in being able to feed at least 500 people.  Later I will post a "STILL NEED" List.

Sunday, Feb 23rd at 11am is the next Rainbow Day of Love  Asking for everyone to send loving light to this Rainbow Day of Love project once again! Are you looking for a way to PAY IT FORWARD this year and not sure where to begin? Well how about donating to a grass root organization called Rainbow Day of Love that soul mission is to feed the homeless? 

Two years ago, my wife and I  made a big organic turkey for Thanksgiving.  We are pretty much vegetarian and had loads of turkey left over. It was my daughter Skye’s  idea to make sandwiches for the homeless. We went out and bought additional food and drink, enough for 25 lunches,  and placed a $5 inside each bag.  At that time we decided to transmute the energies of Black Friday (day after ThanksGiving from greed and hectic shopping to a  Rainbow Friday full of love. 

This year we once again transmuted the energies to Rainbow Friday full of love, through the loving hearts of people that donated to feeding the homeless.  Through Pay It Forward donations we delivered 200 lunches to the homeless souls in down town Denver. We hit the areas next to the Denver Rescue Mission and Civic Park.  It was a good thing we had food because the Soup Kitchen was closed on that day. 

 

We had some money left over and through more PAY IT FORWARD DONATIONS decided to deliver lunches on Rainbow Day After Christmas.  So on December 26^th beginning at 10:45 am, we once again began  delivering lunches to the homeless in Down Town Denver.

  We delivered 215 lunches complete with hot cocoa, a beanie hat, fleece gloves and thermal socks to the homeless people in Down Town Denver.There were so many homeless people without food it only took 50 minutes to deliver. 

     Through more Pay It Forward Donations we have once again decided to hold another Rainbow Day of Love, this time it will be on February 23, 2014. We will be delivering as many breakfast burritos along with hot cocoa and a snack bag.

We are looking for donations to buy the groceries, but also looking for help in delivering the lunches, and in sending all the loving light we can get to Rainbow Day of Love.
